Me, well first I would faint... :faint2: lol
Then I'd take a dive into it just like uncle Scrooge did in 'Ducktales'

Some of the first things I'd do would be pay off all my debts and the debts of my close family and friends... I'd donate some money to some charities in 3rd world countries and then take a trip around the world. :woohooo:

Then, I'd,

Quit my current job, and spend some serious time trying to develop drawing skills....And I'd work more on illustrating the Opie tales to try and get them published.

Donate some to my church, some to charities that are close to my heart, and some to research in particular areas of medicine.

Then I'd set up a trust for each of my nephews and nieces. There are several other things that I'd do, too.....But, it would take up too much space to list it all - and would bore everyone to tears.

try to figure out how it got into my room in the first place, then make sure it was all legit...

if everything checked out i would give to charities, help out my friends and relatives, then concentrate on myself, self publish my stories, invest in real estate and retire...

The first two things I would do are much like yours, Carol. I would faint, and then jump in the middle of the pile, roll around in it, throw it in the air, and then shout, "I'm rich! I'm rich!"

Then when I finally managed to calm down, the first thing I would do is hire a private duty nurse, or two, to take care of my mom, and purchase anything that she could use to make her more comfortable. And I would buy my dad the camper of his dreams so that he could take a much needed break whenever he needs to.

Then, I would pay off all of our debts and help out some friends that are hurting financially.

I would buy a little bigger house for us, and cars for both Tim and I, and I would give my brother money to do whatever he wishes with.

I would also put money away to ensure that the kids would have enough to go to whatever college they wish.

And, last but not least, I would donate money to the MS Society and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

I'd have to think what all I'd do with it, however the question is: "What would you do if you walked into your room and found this..." Soooooo, I'm thinking along the same lines as Savannah...better hire Vinny and Guido! Whistle

That would probably be me too; but if it turned out to be real then I would thank God for his blessings, pay off the mortgage, invest some, donate money to the church, set aside some for our childrens' education, donate to the charities we support, and travel to all the Laura Ingalls Wilder sites with my girls. Then I would write my little ole heart out and commit to getting published.
