| I always wanted one of those big dollhouses with the real working lamps, that you could wallpaper, and carpet and buy the tiny little furniture for. But my best friend down the street had one, so at least I got to play with hers! | |

I also remember attempting to kidnap one from a friend. . . | |

| Well, this isn't a toy, but it certainly 'fits' on this forum. My mom did a LOT of sewing when my sisters and I were little, and I BEGGED her for a "Laura & Mary" matching white nightgown and night-cap set. I even found a pattern for it at one point. I think my mom figured it was just a phase and would be a silly thing to make for me, but I asked for it for years! To this day, I bring up the nighgown/cap set that never was. Yep, still bitter. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| I always wanted Lincoln Logs and a race track, but my mother was only willing to promote my tomboy nature to a certain point. For Christmas and birthdays she would always buy me dolls and Barbies. I had to depend on relatives to beef up my Hot Wheels and Matchbox collections. Hot Wheels ruled!!!! | |

| Okay, so recently VH1 aired a new "I love... series" and this one was about toys. It's amazing how many of those toys I have played with or have fond memories of. Anyway, I thought it would be fun if we go over the list here. I will post the list of toys in order, counting from #100 to #1. After I get at least 5 posts about a toy, I will post the next toy and so on... so the thread will only move if it's active, if not... well that's okay too lol. Okay, so I will post a toy and you just say what your thoughts are about it, your memories, whatever. So, we are going to start of with toy number #100! ============= The magic 8 ball! Okay, well I never bought one of these but I remember that about 95% of the time... if I saw it at the store, I would always ask it a question... lol Some friends of mine did have it... we had some good laughs asking it questions and seeing the answers that it gave us.... | |

| My brother had one and I remember asking it questions, and if it didn't give me the answer I wanted, I kept reasking the question until it gave me the answer I wanted! | |

| I never had a magic 8 ball! My friend did, and I really don't understand why we were so fascinated with it! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| #99 Thumbelina Baby Doll ========== Okay, I was a little confused by this one... as I didn't know they were called "Thumbelina dolls", so thanks Teresa lol I don't think that should be at #99, way too may girls love these baby dolls! I had one when I was little. I lived in El Salvador at the time and my cousin who came to visit us from the United States brought me a baby doll and boy having a doll like that in El Salvador, in my neighborhood, was a BIG deal... I loved playing with it. | |

| I don't recall ever having a Thumbelina doll myself, but Kelsey had one when she was younger. I tried to find a pic of one like it to post, but I couldn't find one anywhere. It looked similar to the one you posted, Carol, but she just had a light pink pajama outfit on. | |

| I had a Thumbelina doll Pam. She rode a horse. When you pulled her string, she moved and made the horse rock. She was dressed in little indian clothes, so cute. Ah memories. | |

Hmmm... introduction of D&D book to the forum has caused massive frost damage, slowing rate of posts by 15%. I'll use my Fire Cloak, which has Frost Resistance +15 and should restore forum postage rate to a normal speed, then take a 5% hit point reduction by adding a second turn in for using Wand of Summer to impale disease damage and gain +5 dexterity.
