| I promise that I won't inundate you with cute stories about my nephew today. (I'll wait til tomorrow to do that. ) But, I was playing a word game with a friend, and one of the words reminded me of something that happened quite a while back that made me laugh. And, since everyone can use a laugh now and then...I thought I'd share it.When Caleby was three, his favorite cereals were cream of wheat and oatmeal. One morning, my Mom decided to add a little wheat germ to the cereal so the children would get some extra nutrition. The older children never even noticed. Caleb, though, looked at his cereal and said "Grandma, what's this on my cream of 'week'?" Mom told him "Wheat germ, sweetie." A couple of minutes later, I came in from taking out the dog, and saw Caleb quietly sniffling, and wiping away a tear. He never cried, so I asked him "What's wrong, baby?" Through tears, he said "I 'dinnint' want germs in my cereal". :Hahaha: So, until he could understand that they weren't really germs, we called them wheat flakes after that. | |

| Guess I need to get some "wheat flakes" because a germ has gotten me. I've had a terrible cold all weekend. Cute story....kids take things so literal. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart | |

| Oh, Gin! I'm sorry to hear that you have a cold. If I lived closer, I'd bring you some elderberry tea and chicken noodle soup. Take care of yourself. Colds are miserable! | |
