Maybe some of you will remember that I finished a novel a while back. I'm still looking for a publisher, but in the meantime I've posted it to a website called WEBooks.

The book is called Sonnet Harbor. It's an adventure-fantasy about a young girl's journey through a magical summer. I've posted the first eight chapters so far, and if anyone would like to take a peek, it's at: www.webook.com/project/sonnet-harbor

There's a place there where you can leave comments, or you can just PM me here about it if you'd like. All feedback is welcome. Thanks!

Hi, Rob, I just read the first chapter and I have to say that I am truly impressed. You write with such detail I can envision each part clearly as I read it; it just draws you in. I can hardly wait to read the next chapter. If I didn't have to get up early tomorrow, I would read more! Thanks so much for posting the link.

Rob, I'm feeling like a jerk. I told you some time ago (right before Christmas!) that I would soon read the book, and still haven't gotten around to it. I am sorry! :shy: I hope to soon---I can imagine that you are a wonderful writer!!

Since Rob is too humble to mention this, I'm going to. batEyes His book on WEBook is now open for voting. It's kind of like an online literary version of American Idol. Thumbsup You have to sign up to vote, but it's free to sign up. Voting runs from today through April 20th, and some of the books will be going on to publication through this! Sooo....Go take a peek at Sonnet Harbor! I'm betting that you'll love it just as much as I do!

Here's the link again:

I voted!! Although, I have only had the opportunity to read the first chapter so far, I have to admit that it really drew me in and I can't wait to read more. I will have some extra time over spring break!

Thanks for letting us know we could vote, Savannah.

Rob, I am sorry that I missed this thread last week. I am so glad that you have had such positive feedback on your book. I will try and take a peek when I get a chance. What an accomplishment you have achieved!! I pray that you will find a publisher soon. Since you are "Fife," you're an editor's dream. They wouldn't be able to find any mistakes. LOL!! You'd make their job much easier.

Hey Rob,
Just wanted to let you know that I read the 1st chapter and loved it! Wow, you did such a great job!
I will surely be reading the rest... I'm at work now... but I just had to finish that first chapter. I like how you describe things... like Alzheimer's being a monster... which is true...
I love how you describe Snowden's feelings... they are pure and raw... while I read how Snowden felt, I could sort of relate and made me also feel the way she felt.

Oh, and I like your mention of American Idol there... lol too funny :)

Anyway, good job. I will vote and finish reading later. Thumbsup

You're welcome! I'm the obnoxiously perky cheerleader, telling everyone I know about Sonnet Harbor. grinsmiley I just love the book.

Thanks for the votes, everybody! Pam and Carol, I'm really glad you like what you've read so far.

Nope, the editor wouldn't be able to Fife me. When Savannah finished the book, I think her exact words were, "Wow, a whole book without a single typo!" Whistle batEyes
