| It looks like Hallmark Channel will be airing the six-hour LHotP Disney miniseries on Saturday, April 18, starting at 5pm Eastern. They'll also be showing Look Back to Yesterday and The Last Farewell starting at 1pm Eastern and The Last Farewell again at 11pm Eastern. I've never seen the Disney version, so I'm looking forward to it. Now, if only Hallmark could figure out a way to get LHotP back on their daily schedule, that would be great. | |

| I have the Disney version on DVD. I really enjoyed it because they stuck to the books very closely. It reminds me of Michael Landon's Pilot episode. | |

| I started watching it tonight. So far, I've watched the first hour or so. I'm up to where they crossed the river and Charles went to look for Jack. I like it so far. It seems very similar to the pilot movie but with much more detail (like Laura playing the organ in the middle of the river -- when I first saw that, I thought I had missed something until I realized what had happened). One big difference is the absence of Carrie. It also seems that Mary and Laura are a bit younger than they were in the pilot movie. | |

| Wow, this is really good! I'm about halfway through it now. It's a lot like the pilot movie, but it's much more intense and suspenseful. The wolf attack, the Indian visit, and the well scene all had me on the edge of my seat. The acting is really good. The little girl who plays Laura really does a good job. You really get a good sense of what it must have been like to be a kid on the prairie. BTW, I thought the actor who plays Dr. Tan looked familiar when I saw him but I couldn't remember for sure where I had seen him. I later realized that he's Dorian Harewood, who played Reverend Hamilton on 7th Heaven. | |

| I just finished watching it today. I give it a big ! Very well done all the way around. I was especially impressed with the job Kyle Chavarria did as Laura. :Gjob: Now, wouldn't a Plum Creek miniseries be great? | |
