Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

Well...I'm back.... Will be heading back out late tomorrow or early Wednesday, then hopefully sometime next week, a friend with truck and trailer will be helping me load the furniture......This is going to be a whirlwind move for sure......

Yes Rob...it did, but I think I heard it "grunt" a couple of times on some of the hills.... Not real sure how many more trips like that it can handle........

I'm not real sure how many loads are left.....we have lived in this house for almost 18 years and that's a LOT of stuff gathered........My friend came down with me a week ago Wednesday and we loaded the majority of my furniture. He's supposed to come down again, weather permitting, and help get another big load. He loaned me some HUGE boxes and I have about 8 of them filled......he'll have to use his 2-wheel dolly to move them out of the house and onto the trailer......

U-haul charges .54 a mile and with the cost of fuel and the cost of the truck and insurance on it (you can't get around that anymore, they require it) I wouldn't be able to afford it....just going to continue to let my friend help me out....

Without a load, about 3.5 hours....with a load, about 45 minutes to an hour more........

No, Savannah.....I still have Arkansas tags on my vehicle and my friend is still at home......Keep an eye out for us though, he is good at getting distracted and doesn't pay attention when he drives.....

Heading out tomorrow with a HUGE load and this will be it for a little while. I still have several little loads to do, but Jake is not going to push me into getting everything right away......I will have to come back for 2 of my 3 cats. The 3rd one is pretty much the "neighborhood" cat and everyone pretty much looks out for him.....he just comes in for warmth, loving and food, and then it's back outside......the other two will come with me and keep me company......

I will not have computer access at the house for a while, so you will only see me around when I go to the library or if I am over at my friends house and he lets me get online. I will miss you when I am not online every day, but please know that I will not be forgetting this place or any of you. I just have to get settled, get a job, and then I can purchase the internet and be ready to visit every day......

Not sure Savannah......I know it needs to be close to noon or so.....My friend has cattle that need to be tended to, so we need to get back at a decent hour......I have just about everything ready that I am taking, so all we need to do is load it up and hit the road....but loading a washer and dryer, fridge, lawnmower, glider swing, and 11 HUGE boxes might take some time........
