Opie meets two mice.

This morning I went to an outdoor craft fair with a friend of mine, and a crew of family members. (My stars was it windy!! That has nothing to do with the story...I just thought I'd share that. batEyes

) Well, one of the people there was selling the book The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse, along with toy little stuffed mice that looked exactly like the mice in the illustrations of the book. I thought it would make a wonderful Christmas gift for Oliveah. So I bought it, and brought it home. I put it on my bed, and started working on a project for an online workshop. I looked up a few minutes later, and saw Opie come into my room, jump up on my bed, and settle down into his blanket for a nap. All of the sudden, his head popped up, and he leaped back onto his feet! His eyes were wide open and his hackles were up. Before I could even say a word, he sprang across my bed onto the Town Mouse, grabbed it by its ear, and took off with it - shaking it vigorously as he went! The chase was on! :Hahaha: I ran after him (in hot pursuit, in Fife's terminology grinsmiley

) and Opie ran like the thief-caught-in-the-act that he was! He finally tripped over the fat little mouse's suitcoat, and I was able to retrieve the mouse - which was actually still unharmed! And so, the drama came to an end. A new chapter for The Town Mouse, and for Opie, too. :Hahaha:

Aww, how cute.....and I love that story about The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse!!! Better find a better place to put the book AND the mice!!!! :haha:

Opie, Opie, Opie! What does he do with a lazer light? Cassie my gray tabby only watches it. She is the laziest cat I've ever had. Now my dog loves them!
Guess you know what to get Opie for his birthday. LOL

Oh, he goes bonkers over laser pointers! I bought him one for Christmas. (And one for each of my nieces and nephews. grinsmiley

) If I get him really wound up with the pointer, he'll actually run several feet up the wall! :Hahaha:

I thought this was a joke thread, like "Two men walk into a bar..", only about Opie.

Opie meets two mice. They're both dangling from a string that's tying up the cheese. Opie says, "What are you guys doing?"

The mice say "Oh, we're just hanging out."

Thank you folks, I do two shows a night at the MGM Grand. Bring the kids.
