| I had to make a quick run to the store for bread yesterday, and when I was leaving, an older gentleman came up to me and said "Say, how's your husband doing? I heard he was having a rough time of it." I told him that he must have me confused with someone else, because I'm not married. He said "Yes you are. You know....that tall fella with the dark hair". (Okay....at that point, I almost keeled over. Like describing him is suddenly going to make me remember that I'm married. ) I repeated that I'm not married, and he kept insisting. Finally I figured that he might not be quite "right" and decided to stop arguing with him about it, because he seemed to be getting agitated.....so I told him that I was running late and had to get going. (Which was true...but if he hadn't seemed so loony I wouldn't have been in quite the same hurry. ) And oddly enough....I'm not sure, but I *think* I've had a similar run-in with this same man! Very strange.But can you believe the things we learn at the store? Why, my stars....if I hadn't gone yesterday, I might never have known that my poor husband has been having a rough time of it. | |

Oh, that husband! :Hahaha: Too funny Savannah....perhaps you're suffering from Amnesia or sth! Maybe your husband has been searching for you for years and this kooky nice man just wants to reunite you! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Well, you would have really gotten him if you had told him that he got bad enough that you put him to sleep just last night.

| That reminds me of a crazy thing that happened to me;
I was in Wal-Mart one day, trying to find my wife, cuz she went to clothing and I went to automotive to check out the tools.
Later I went to get the wife to ask if I could buy a Dremel set (I mean TELL her I was buying one. Testosterone in effect men) She wasn't in clothes any more, she'd went to groceries. So I'm looking around like a lost kid, and one of the workers asks "May I help you?" I said "yeah, I'm looking for a wife."
Without missing a beat, she says "Well, I'm single if you don't mind redheads."
She and I both about lost it.

Does that in Walmart a lot, does she? Our Wal-Mart is very liberal. I generally stay away on Senior Day though. Rhonda, you know you've always wanted to go to the Supercenter in your birthday suit...
