Wow!! What a game! I was in and out of watching it this evening. My husband and mother-in-law are at the game. Still not home yet. I'll be going on Sunday. Hopefully we can beat those Yankees! I haven't talked to my brother-in-law yet, but I'm sure he's bummed. The Tigers are his favorite team. I guess we're not quite done playing at the dome.

I'll be rooting for the Twins all the way....I can't stand the Yankees!! The Twins did a great job and I'd love to see them take this all the way!

Well, it was our last game at the Metrodome. It's kind of nice being inside on a cold night like tonight. The new outdoor stadium will be nice, though.

The game didn't start until 6:00. We just got home. Kind of a bummer, but we had a good season. Go Angels!!

That IS a bummer...what was the score?

It was 4-1. It remained scoreless for about the first 5 innings, and then we scored to make it 1-0. Then, the Yankees got on a roll and scored in the 8th and 9th innings. I don't remember exactly when they scored, but I was thinking, "If we could just hang on for a couple of more innings..........." I thought we may win it 1-0. There were a couple of bad plays, well, one in particular, that prevented us from possibly scoring, but all in all it was a good game. Just not the outcome we were hoping for.

That's really too bad. I would have loved to have seen you guys beat the Yankees! GO ANGELS!!!

We just can't stand Yankee fans, and there were quite a few there last night. Including A-Rod's girlfriend, Kate Hudson. She was sitting in our section, about 15 rows above us. I think she really likes herself. LOL!!

LOL, I don't know too many people who actually like the Yankees, or their fans. Pretty wild that you saw Kate Hudson in person though---you don't see famous people in person every day, I'd guess!

Boy, I hate it when my team gets beaten by another team in a really close, exciting game, and that team goes on and gets swept by another team that nobody likes. That really fries my cookies. I'm not talking about anybody in particular, of course.

Well, we really should have won game 2. The umpire was RIGHT there and called our ball out, when it was clearly 3 feet inside the line. The Yankees really have a nice "home field advantage."

We're still really big Torii Hunter fans, so we'll be going for the Angels.
