Mom seems to be doing better

I'm almost afraid to post this, not wanting to jinx my mom, but after 2 months of being sick, she seems to be getting better. Her appetite is picking up and she's not having the abdominal discomfort.

They never did find out what was wrong with her and they ran test after test after test. Finally, her new dr. put her on amoxicillin this past week and her symptoms seem to be clearing up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this was the answer to her problems.

I'm so glad that she's doing better, poor dear. It's awful to be sick for so long. And then to not know what the cause is - that's difficult, too. I'm so glad to hear that she's improving, though.

Great news Pam! I'm so happy for both of you. I'll pray that this takes care of whatever it was and that she recovers completely.

Great news to hear Pam. Isn't it amazing that they went back to the tried and true amoxicillin and that is what worked.....praying for a full recovery. grinsmiley

I know! They tried a couple other antiobiotics earllier on, that I've never even heard of, but they didn't do the trick at all. It is funny how it could have been something so simple to help her. I'm just relieved that something is finally working!

I want to thank everyone too, for their thoughts and prayers. I can't tell all of you how much it means to me to be able to come here and just get things of my chest and have your support. You guys are the best!
