Ah, yes! The Langoliers, based on a Stephen King novella. An airliner passes through a "rip" in the atmosphere and travels a few minutes into the past. There, the passengers find out what happens to time after it's gone by - it gets eaten by small, round creatures with very big teeth. I think it's a very entertaining, imaginative movie, but even most hardcore King fans seem to agree that it's an absolute clunker.
