LOL Savannah---I should have checked the board before I went to bed last night...I was still up! I watched "When Harry Met Sally"----love that movie! I started it a bit later than I probably should have. Thank you for the birthday wishes Savannah!

Yum, chocolate is JUST fine, Savannah! And I love that winter castle!! My mom is making my favorite cake tonight---turtle! Hopefully the roads won't be too bad and I'll actually get to have a piece! The snow is starting to really come down---of course, it's nothing in comparison to what you're having there, I know!!

Yikes, sounds bad! We may get a snow day tomorrow---the temperatures are dropping and we'll have freezing rain and snow. Yuck. Friday doesn't sound too bad (yet), and we're leaving late in the day, so I'm hoping!!!

Gin, you are equally such a blessing to me. You are one of the funniest people I know, and it's been a joy getting to know you this past year! You always know how to brighten my day! I wish you could be here to celebrate with me too! That would be the icing on the cake. (I'll be sure to have an extra piece for you. ).

I found out that Saturday is going to be the 'warm' day for our getaway! That is the day we go on the 'Christmas walk' in the village...pretty much we'll be outside the entire day, so thank goodness it won't be TOO cold. Well, I guess 34 degrees isn't much of a heatwave! Just going to have to bundle up I guess!
