Hi group. Well, it looks like my computer picked up a virus. I can't get online at all. I'm writing this from our local library. Just wanted to let you know that I might be disappearing for a while.

Been there, done that. Hubby near killed me. Here's hoping you get your computer the right medicine and it heals quickly.

I understand, Rob, because that might be happening to me soon. Mine has been acting up & I decided to wait until after the holidays to take it in to be fixed.

Fife's back! Hope there weren't any crime waves while I was gone.

At a friend's recommendation, I cured the virus problem by wiping the hard drive clean and reconfiguring from scratch. After saving my valuable stuff to CDs, of course. It seems to have worked, and didn't cost a penny.

Yep, a day and a half is an eternity in 'prairie time'! (By the way, I edited my post---it didn't make sense before because I'd omitted a word, LOL!).
