FYI: It looks like one of Melissa's movies : Holiday for Love will possibly be out of print soon. She stars in this movie with Tim Matheson. I've been seeing it for as much as $43, but I found it on Ebay for $13.99/free shipping. I grabbed this one up. I didn't see it on the Hallmark channel this year, and its one of my favorites.

Choices of the Heart is to this day, one of the saddest movies I've ever seen, especially since it's based on a true story. But Melissa was wonderful in it...to this day it remains one of my favorites.
I thought she was surprisingly great in the miniseries "Zoya". I say surprisingly because I didn't think she could pull of the accent, but I think she did a nice job.
It's been so many years since I've seen her in the Miracle Worker...I would love to see that again.

Take it easy Barn! ...
I have never seen the Miracle Worker with Melissa. I have the one with Patty Duke as Helen. I loved Zoya too....she and Bruce acted so well together. My favorite is The Soul Collector.

Yes, I have the movie. She really did a good job, specially in that night scene when when she does that scream.
On an interesting note... the priest who gave my grandma's funeral mass knew and had worked with Archbishop Oscar Romero (who was murdered while giving mass) in El Salvador.

She was in a 1999 movies called " Mistaken Identity". I was about two moms that where given the wrong baby in the hospital. This was the title known in the UK. THis is the title I knew it as. In the US it was called "Switched at Birth." I also knew of a movie under that title starring Bonnie Bedelia & Brian Kerwin about a real life incident of two babies switched. Erika Flores from Dr. Quinn starred in this one as one of the little girls. Both movies are great.
I ran across pricegrabber.com . There is alot of Melissa's movies really cheap. You all may know about this, but I just discovered it.
Miracle Worker is $8.66 Family of Strangers (w/ Patty Duke) is 5.75
Wal-mart has Thicker Than Water . Its in a duo set with another movie.
Joshua's Heart was one of the saddest I've watched. I'm sure this kind of abuse has happend alot to special needs children.

Yes, Mistaken Identity and Switched at Birth were the same movie. Not sure why it had two different names.

I don't think I've seen that one.
I watched "Mistaken Identity" yesterday on LMN. I've seen it a few times before. Good movie.
I also liked her in "The Miracle Worker". I haven't seen that in ages.
