This is Glory Lake, a pretty little glacial lake a few miles from where I live.

Actually, that might be Bright Lake. The two are right next to each other, and are usually referred to as the combined "Bright and Glory." They're very small lakes, only a few acres.

The Roman emperor Hadrian had that wall built across the width of England in the 2nd century A.D. in order to keep the barabarians out of the Empire. Yeah, that'll work.

This was taken on April 1st, by the way. So I'm not sure if it'll work, since it isn't technically winter in the picture....even though I'm sure the residents would argue that one.
