| This might be of interest to our Michigan prairie pals. The last cougar/mountain lion in the state was believed to have been killed in 1906. Recently there have been numerous tracks, and reported sightings. Now there's this photo, which was snapped last May by a DNR trail camera. This is in the Upper Peninsula, fifteen miles north of the Wisconsin border. Looks like they're back!  | |

| And here I thought this post was directed to Teresa and me.  Whoa Rob....just one more reason for me not to go into the U.P. to camp. LOL! I told my hubby that if we do eventually go up there, I want a hard-side trailer! No canvas pop out ends for me!  And LOL, is that a cougar, or a hyena?!  LOL...it just looks 'odd' for some reason, like it has a large, long, and wide neck.

lol That's what I was thinking when I saw the thread title. But technically, a cougar is a hottie in her 40's or 50's that a young dude thinks is hot. Oh, and it's a four-legged feline of large size that'll rip you to pieces if need be. Aside from the four-legged thing, they're pretty much the same.  | |
