Definitely a first!

Last night while I was sleeping, I was dreaming that I was trapped from the waist down in something. I couldn't move at all - but I couldn't see what was holding me in place, either. Then I started to wake up, and I found both of the cats sleeping on my legs! Twenty-pound-Opie and Thomas as well! That's a BIG first! Opie thinks of Thomas as "Mr. Cool", but Thomas has always been rather distant toward Opie, except to occasionally body-wrestle him. So it was really nice to see them snuggled up together like buddies. (Even if they did have me pinned in the process. ) If only I could have gotten a picture of it!

If you had gotten a picture I would have been mightly impressed. Our cat that we picked up as a stray hasn't taken too kindly to the kittens. He's been out more than in lately. We'll see what happens when the real cold weather hits.

Funny Savannah..... After getting home last night Cassie wouldn't let me put her down for awhile. This morning she was laying at my feet waiting patiently for her breakfast. Today she is staying in the same room I'm in....wanting to make sure I don't leave again.

Aaaww, Savannah! I was missing Opie's stories so much! Thanks to share it with us. And Gin and Bethandmanly...thanks too. I DO love cat's stories.
