Illness

Hi friends. Please pray for me. I have been ill for the last 10 days or so. I have been to the ER and my family doctor in the last few days. I have pains in my chest. My dr thinks I have a stomach problem that is effecting my eshphagas as the pain is in the chest and not the stomach.
I haven't been online much in the past week.

Will certainly pray! I don't like it when I hear someone having stomach problems...I know that is NO fun....:( Will pray for peace as well for you.

Went to the ER last night, was in extreeme pain. They gave me meds that did nothing and then hooked me up to a iv pole and morphine. That was the only time that I felt better. The dr said that I may have an ulcer. I have to go back to a clinic for a scope and then we will know if I have one or not. I have morphine meds for the pain but it's not as effective as my pole friend.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. I didn't have a good night last night, was in
a lot of pain. So when my dad was headed ot to a blood clinic early this
morning, I got up and went with him to the ER. I am very lucky to have the
hospital at the end of my street, takes about 5 minutes to get there.
I arrived and had to wait for about an hour before getting looked at. I had an
xray and an ultra sound. The dr told me that I have a syst on my ovary, the
cause of much of the pain that I suffered the last time, 2 years ago and maybe
some of the cause for the pain this time around too. The syst isn't big enough
to remove yet so they will keep an eye on it with yearly ultrasounds and when it
is big enough, it will be removed surgically. I am still waiting for the call
to go to the GI clinic to see if I have an ulcer. They haven't called yet so I
will call them tomorrow during office hours.
I recieved 3 doses of morphine through intervenius today so I am extreemly tired
and will be in bed early tonight. I'll have to tape my shows tonight and watch
them tomorrow.
I am hoping to return to work on Wed, if they will have me. I'll have to go to
my dr to get a dr's note before the boss will allow me to return.
That's about it for now, I'm having a hard time staying awake. Love to all,

Wow, a cyst and a possible ulcer. You poor woman. I'll be praying you get a good night's rest and that the pain subsides.

I am headed back to work on Monday for the first time in over 2 weeks. I am starting off part time until I work the body back into the routine. I have a consultation appointment at a GI clinic on Feb 15th. After that I have to have a scope to determine if I have an ulcer or not. Over the past few days I have been almost pain free, didn't need any meds. Today I went to do a few errands and by the time I got home, I was very sore. I won't be moving around that much at work, usually I stand mostly in one spot and pour coffee. So, the decision to only work part time is a good one for me. I'm in no hurry to rush the body but am thankful to be able to get out of the house and get back into the work world.

I'm glad you'll be well enough to return to work. I hope these tests shed some light on what is going on.

Poor Marylin! A syst! Too bad! I'll pray for you could do better. I know you are feeling really ill. Ovaries pains are the most awful of all pains...

thanks for your continued prayers. Just a quick update, I returned to work this last week but only lasted for a day and a half before pain became unbearable. I've been off since Wed midmorning. I have been called into work for tomorrow for a few hours but I have my dr's permission to take off as much time as I need, he will back me up. My concern is lack of funds as well as a bad reaction from the boss who may not appreciate my taking more time off.
