Oh, lovely! I like the Greenbush twins so much. People said they were bad actresses, but I don't think so. They performed a very credible Carrie Ingalls. What is a shame is that the writers wouldn't give them more lines and would make their character interesting. They tries to let Carrie as a toddler when she was six, seven or eight years old and it wasn't possible... Huh?

I too wish the writers would have developed the Carrie character more. I wish they just would have let her grow up. At the end of the series, she should have been doing some of the same things that Laura was at the beginning of the series.

For real. Laura was about nine when the series began. By the time the series ended, Carrie was thirteen. (Or, at least, the Greenbush twins were.) She was far too old for the "baby Carrie" scenes that the writers still insisted on saddling the poor girl with.

And they kept her hair down and gave her a bib for so long.
Give her something else other than being cute. Everybody grows up!

And in comparison to Laura, in Season 7 Carrie is 9/10, give her some more work and stop treating her as a baby. Laura did work at 9/10!

Thirteen years old??? I didn't know they were THAT old! I believed they were 10 or 11. Certailny, at 13, Mary was near to be married to Jhon Jr. ! What the writers were thinking about when imagining Carrie's part? Laura and Mary ere almost little women at 13... Huh?
