| Well, dealing with deers is better than to do it with BEARS! I love deers. Congrats for having them at your backyard! Vanesa. | |

| We had a buck in our backyard a few years ago. I'll try to find the photo. | |

| I haven't seen many deer this year; though they have to be better than the turkeys pecking at our cellar windows. | |

| Wow Rob, what a sight!! I am so jealous of all you country folk....we city folk don't get a lot of wildlife! - bethandmanly wrote:

Well now, I guess I'm not so jealous of that. | |

| It was the strangest thing, Amy. I was laying in bed and I heard this loud rapping outside. At first, I thought maybe the neighbor had some construction going on, but it was coming from the other side of the house where our yard is. There would be a few seconds of rapping, and then silence. Then rapping again. I finally went outside to investigate and there was a whole flock of turkeys on the side of the house. This big tom was pecking the heck out of the cellar window and I couldn't get him to go away. I sure as heck didn't want him chasing me or anything. He might have pecked me instead. I ended up getting a large pan and metal spoon and making so much noise he ran off, taking his girls with him. | |
