Ah, Tie Me Kangaroo Down! My sister and I used to play that record without end when we were kids. We probably thought it was the Australian national anthem.

My sister and I laugh about how we listened to all these nonsensical songs, and it never occurred to us to wonder what they meant. "Tie me kangaroo down, sport." Huh?

Skippy is a 1960's show. Still rerun in Australia, not sure about USA/Canada/Etc. You can buy it in DVDs. You should get it. Classic Australian show. :)
