I'm not sure. Looking at it online, I don't think that I probably would, because it looks like it's lacking in any structural support. But if I got there, I might give it a try. . . . .

Well.......I don't really think I would. I'd be afraid that someone really heavier had just crossed it before me, and done jumping jacks or hopped a pogo stick across it, and when I stepped on................

OMG, can you even imagine what that would feel like?! THIS could actually happen for us next year...our son graduates high school next year, and we've never done a family trip. Rather than the classic Disney trip, I would much rather go West...of course the Grand Canyon would be one of our stops! I'm hoping we can make this happen! (Depends on how much college scholarship $$ he gets! Wink

). I just don't think I'd be walking this bridge!

Amy - if you're seriously thinking of a trip to the Grand Canyon, you may want to look into reserving a tour on that thing now. Depending on how popular it gets, there may be a long wait to reserve your spot. Kinda like the mule rides down into the canyon - I heard that there's a 2-year wait to do that.

I've lived in Arizona for a little over 10 years now and I have yet to visit the Grand Canyon. If I ever do make it up there, I don't know if I would have the guts to get out on that skywalk. I have a terrible fear of heights and falling - just looking at those pictures makes me a bit whoozie.

Wow, it looks so cool! A little scary, but it really looks neat. When I flew to Las Vegas a few years ago, we flew over the Grand Canyon and it was gorgeous, but I'm sure it's much for breathtaking in person. I'm thinking about it...I think I would walk on the bridge. I would be scared, and may get nervous when I was on it, but, as Carol said, then I'd walk fast!

There is no way I could walk this...I got nauseous just looking at the pictures and Amy, just warn your boys to stay away from Indian boys who might run away from home and find your kids while you are camping....

I found out that there is a $50 fee to get onto the reservation land where the bridge is - then another $25 fee to walk the bridge. Now I *know* I wouldn't walk it! affraid

I'm too much of a tightwad to put out that kind of money to walk on a bridge.
