The painting is Van Gogh's Sower with Setting Sun. I think I first noticed it in that Vincent DVD, and I thought it was beautiful.

Ohhhh, that's beautiful! (I started watching that DVD already, too, and am already finding it very interesting! I hadn't realized how young he was when he died. He looked so much older in his self-portrait. Or maybe the sadness in his eyes just made him seem older to me. ) Thank you for posting a larger picture of it.

It's fascinating, isn't it? Vincent wrote so well, too. Looking back, I'm not sure if this painting was featured in that DVD, or if I came across it after looking up his painting The Reaper, which he spoke about on the disc.
