| I was there last year and met Dean Butler and Melissa Sue Anderson as well as Bill Anderson, whom I had met the year before. I won't be going this year but Lorrie is going, she lives near Green Bay. This year Charlotte Stewart will be at Heiritage Hill. Dean and Lucy Flippin will be there next year. | |

| I would love to go. Maybe next year. It just always happens to be when we're away. | |

| To far away for me, even if I could afford it (which I can't! ). Maybe, some day I could go visit some Laura Ingalls Wilder Homesites. Vanesa. | |

Same here, but I'll be looking forward to the re-cap of your visit, MissOleson! You will certainly be a busy girl this next couple of years!

This year Charlotte Stewart will be at Heiritage Hill. Dean and Lucy Flippin will be there next year. Yes, I heard that Charlotte Stewart was going to be there. I do plan on going just to go. And I would like to meet at least ONE person from the series! But now you have me kind of excited at the news that both Dean and Lucy Flippin will be there next year. I have no idea what to expect of this yet, but I will have to make another trip up there next year just to meet both of them. - Amy wrote:

Well, it is all "talk" until it actually happens. My trip to Missouri looks less and less like it is going to happen (I still want to get to Iowa to do some genealogical work, but I don't think I will be making it down to Missouri - it is a financial thing). But Wilder Days isn't a problem at all because it is only in Green Bay. That is like a 3 - 3 1/2 hour drive, I think, but it doesn't seem like it is that big of a deal because it is IN Wisconsin.

| For anyone who has been there, are we able to bring in our own books for William Anderson to sign? Or would I have to buy something?
Honestly, I really don't want to buy anything unless they are selling the Mark Twain or Louisa May Alcott books. I have the LIW ones. I don't need any of those twice. Who's going to do the cooking?!?!

| This is the info from the website....looks like you have to buy what you want signed; which to me is kind of silly if you already have it.... 1:00-3:00 Autograph Session in the Library William Anderson and Charlotte Stewart Autograph guidelines: *There is no limit to the number of items to autograph. *No carry-items for autographing. *William Anderson will sign his published works. *Charlotte Stewart will sign her photographs and “Beadle” bags. *All items to be autographed are available for purchase in the Heritage Hill Gift Shop and General Store. | I took previously owned books last year for Dean and MSA to sign. But I think they cracked down and changed the rules for the second day we were there. I took the booklet that came from Season 9.

Yeah, I know. I saw that. That is why I became curious about this. Well, all I can do is hope that they sell either his LMA or Mark Twain book. I don't have either of those. - LIWnut wrote:

That is the thing. They say that there is no limit to what can be signed but they are kind of limiting it by not allowing you to bring in your own things to sign. Well, I don't mind having Charlotte Stewart sign a photo. I really didn't know what to bring, anyway. But if those pictures end up costing like $20, forget it!! The only reason I say that is because when I went to the house for "A Christmas Story" last year, the guy that played Randy (the little brother) was there and his photos were around that much. So I didn't even bother to get an autograph. Otherwise I would've thought "Why not?", but that held me back. I never thought to bring the book from the DVDs (considering when I had written to a some people a few years ago, I sent the CD booklet - that is the same difference). That I could easily sneak into my purse and nobody would know it.

| That is odd that they say there's no limit, but yet they limit what can be signed. What exactly is a Beadle bag? It sounds interesting!
If it were a little closer to Madison I would definitely consider going!

| A Beadle Bag is a cloth book bag lovingly crafted by Charlotte Stewart aka Miss Beadle. They usually have her picture on it from LHOP but if you order one, you can email your own pic to Char and she would use that. I have a bag with a pic of her with Laura and Mary on the schoolhouse steps. She signed it for me too, very special. | |

I don't understand very well...How could she use your photography? Does she add the photography you send to her in the bag?? I'm confused... Vanesa.

| I'll love to go. But, don't have the money. My mom will love go to place like this. We love historical museums. Maybe someday, will go to Wilder Days in Wisconsin. But, not this year. | |
