| I don't think it's anything to worry about, sweetie. Feet can "change in size" depending on what time of day it is, what activities you've been doing, etc. - and for ladies, it can even be impacted by the time of the month. And it can also largely depend on the style of shoe you're trying on. Dress shoes will sometimes tend to run smaller than boots or athletic shoes. But the biggest thing (and I'm guessing that this is what the deal is), is that shoes vary in size from company to company just like skirts and pants do. For instance, I have a size 2 skirt that I wear quite often - but if I tried to squeeze into a size 2 from another company, I'd look like a stuffed sausage and wouldn't be able to walk or breathe. I wore a size 6 from Lee, and it fit just fine - but when I tried a 6 from Eddy Bauer, it was huge on me. So I'd guess that it has more to do with the shoes and differing standards from company to company than it does your feet. I really don't think it's anything to stress about. | |

There's a joke in there somewhere. Sounds like you've gotten some good advice, Julia. No worries.

It is very frustrating with all these companies and clothing items. I've noticed my section considers what used to be a small a large or even X-large....which really can effect people...I'm talking from experiance. I know everything can for sure be impacted by that time of the month. I feel so fat then! It's bad because it even may show. But I don't mind this whole feet thing-I just wanted to make sure it was ok! LOL! I like the way my feet are looking more narrow and longer instead of wide and bulky. I just want to be taller. I've stunted my growth so I am praying that I will grow to the correct height I need to be. I agree; different types of shoes fit differently on me, too. I range from a 5-7 1/2 size in footwear. "I would fight for you - I'd lie for you - walk the wire for you - ya I'd die for you..."

Well, it's perfectly acceptable for a girl to be on the short side. Sometimes it actually adds to her appeal.

| Hmm, let's see... you're pretty, funny, personable, nice... I don't think you need to know how to attract a guy. You're already a pretty darned appealing package. And the fact that you don't know the tricks to make a guy like you... that only makes you more appealing. Guys like that vulnerability. Just be a friend to him, Julia. Many a great romance has started that way. Night! | |

| It's rather normal. It depends what kind of activities are you doing. Some people could have little oedemas in their feets (nothing dangerous; my granny suffered from feet oedema most of her life), so their regular shoes wouldn't fit them any more...for a while. And you also could have diferent show size...it depends of the shoe! It seems crazy, but it's rather normal. Being short? Normal too. Most of men just loves short women! Tall ones have no too many chances. Just think about Nellie and Percival! Vanesa. | |

| Just my worthless opinion... If someone really likes you, they'll like you for what you are, no matter what you look like on the outside. Remember what you are on the inside is what really matters. | |

*Savannah the giantess backs slowwwwwwly out of the conversation* No, I'm kidding.....And they're right....Your height is actually quite charming to a lot of guys. But really, it comes down to just learning to be comfortable being you. You don't have to be a taller you, or a shorter you, or thinner or heavier, or any other "er" to be liked for who you are. You're wonderful just the way you are. And your height has nothing to do with that. - Rob wrote:

Oh! And, Julia, I wanted to say that I think that this is awesome advice from Rob.

| Wow! I didn't think I would receive all these replies! Well, I am 5"1 without heels. But I want to be 5"4---5"5. I have been growing a bit. Like the other day I ran into an overhead (lower height) light at Zaxby's that I never had.... I have lost weight without trying. I am about 9 pounds lighter. I think what I want to do is just tone up. I know people need to take me as I am. The more I try to act like I don't like Arjay, the HE acts and does things that seems like he does! It's like the more I give him up, the more he comes to me. By the way, I bought a new dress today. Orginally $50.00-----I got it for......*drumroll* $7.69!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here it is. I like it without the sweather but I forgot to take it off for the photo. Here's one I took. "The beauty of a woman is incredibly radiant when she finds her identity, her confidence, & her hope in Christ alone. "
