| A few times, unfortunately. The first time was when I was a new, inexperienced driver and I slid through a red light (winter time) and was hit by car going through the intersection on my driver side door. Was my fault, since really, I should have been able to stop in time if I had been going a little slower as conditions were bad on the road. Luckily, no one was hurt.
Another time I was driving down a busy road and a young girl pulled out of Burger King right in front of me. Again, no one was hurt.
The last time was when I pulled over to the side of the road to let an ambulance go by and apparantly the guy driving behind me wasn't paying attention, as he slammed right into me. Thankfully, again, no one was hurt.

| About 12 years ago I got t-boned (the NASCAR fans will get that) by a school bus and pushed a couple hundred yards down the road. I don't know what the driver was thinking. She was at a stop sign, and just as I was going by she pulled out and nailed me.
Afterward she kept saying that nothing like this had ever happened to her before, but later I found out that she'd had almost exactly the same kind of accident a few months earlier. Thankfully, she very soon no longer had a job that involved transporting kids.

| Well, I'm pretty sure she was a Michigan gal, Rhonda. And I'm betting a lot of parents breathed a sigh of relief when they found out she was no longer driving their kids, just like you did.
Did that driver get fired or quit, or did your boys just "graduate" to another bus?

| I had 2. The first time was a guy ran a stop sign, slammed onto my passenger side, sent me into spinning about 3 times before I hit 3 parked cars on the other side of the road. The guy had the nerve to come out and yelled at me, luckily, someone lived in a house there saw what happened, he called 911 and was my witness. I wasn't hurt just shaken up.
The 2nd time was when I was 4 months pregnant with my older daughter, my ex and I were heading to a friend's house in the left lane, well this lady decided to make a left turn all the way from the right lane, a white van was slightly ahead of us in the middle lane, so we couldn't see her coming until it was too late, we hit her and she ended up on the opposite side of the Blvd., I banged my knees into the glove compartment and hit my head into the windshield. The paramedic took me to the ER and I had an emergency CT scan, luckily my fetus was fine, my knees were banged up pretty bad.
