About 20 years ago, I played the Nintendo game, The Legend of Zelda. It was cutting-edge!
This is the intro to the latest version...

I know, it's crazy. I remember playing Zelda too when it first came out. Games look amazing now... not to mention games where you can control the person by moving your body or using the Wii remote.

My first encounter with a video game was Pong. It was in the gift shop of the massive luxury liner the Queen Mary. I must have been 8 or 9 years old. I remember thinking "This is just the start" and sure enough. Look how far we've come in 35-40 years!! When I was a teenager my dad collected stand up video games. We had Space Invaders, Asteroids, Pac-Man, Miss Pac-Man (table top version) and others that I can't remember. We also had 2 pinball machines. Kids loved coming over and playing them. Ahh, the memories.

My first video game was "Gyruss". I really loved it. I could play it for HOURS. I don't like very much the new video games, play station and all. I'ms ure they are great...but my brother downloaded some old video game versions for me...and for him!

The only "video games" I did was the "Atari". I remember playing basketball, Pac-Man, this airplane game, Donkey Kong, and some others. I have never been one for video games. I love the outdoors too much. I did enjoy playing the Gameboy. I even still have it. Not the one I started out with though because someone stole it yearsss ago with my favorite game in it!!! And of all places at a CHURCH!

The second clip was very familiar, yet different so I wasn't sure that was the latest version until I saw the title. Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda game I played; it's the best so far in my opinion. If they haven't changed the game, I don't think I would buy it just to play it in 3D.

Mine, too. We were visiting my sister at college (Michigan State), and I remember walking into the student union and seeing two guys standing at this machine. There was a screen with a ball of light bouncing back and forth. Pong! They were actually controlling what was happening on the TV screen. I'd never seen anything like it.

Wow! I also played Donkey Kong! And of course, PacMan. I'm not very fond of video games, either. I like play them time to time, tough...
