| I meant to tell you this yesterday and forgot...Over the weekend I'd had quite a bad migraine, and they often make me have very unusual or vivid dreams. Well, you were in either one or two of the dreams - I can't remember if they were connected or not. But anyway....You and I were getting together for coffee, and we were visiting in a little cafe. When we finished, we decided to go for a walk and visit a little bit more. While we were walking, we came near the library. Here's a shot of it:
As we walked toward the back of the library, we saw a man shoving a little old lady into the basement of the library! So we ran over to help her. He went in the basement, and we followed - we went into full Nancy Drew mode, Amy. I'm surprised we didn't have magnifying glasses to look for clues. Anyway...The basement was full of intricate passages and hidden rooms, and it took us a long time, but we found the little old lady and rescued her. Turned out she was going to go to the library board and offer to fully pay to have the library completely remodeled and refinished - and the kidnapper we'd seen was the man who owned the company that was going to build the new library. So he didn't want her to be able to make her offer to the library board.
Then you came to my farm (I don't have one, but hey, this is dream world, after all) and I was showing you my crop. It was lush, thick and healthy - but I warned you not to touch it, because it was . . . poison ivy. Yep. I was growing a crop of poison ivy. AND I had a buyer! A fairytale character wanted to purchase the entire lot of it because he was going to get revenge on the evil witch by stuffing her mattress and pillow with the poison ivy leaves.
Thanks for the coffee and company, Amy! | |

| Oh my goodness, I'm just now seeing this! You certainly do have some wild and wacky dreams Savannah!! First off, I love that it took place in this library! I think we need to go there and see if we can find all these hidden passageways! With our magnifying glasses in tow, of course. That is such an amazing looking library! Leave it to you and I to make it our mission to save the little old lady!! Of COURSE!!! Well, I was all excited to go visit you on your farm!! I've been reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder book that's in my avatar, and it's been interesting reading about all of their adventures on their Rocky Ridge farm, and of course think of how I would love to have a farm!! So, I thought, ooooh cool, I can visit Savannah on her dream farm----but lo and behold, I think I'll pass! Remind me not to go there again, would ya?! I'm wondering if you watched the LH campout episode recently???? LOL!! Thanks for taking me on your mysterious adventure Savannah! You DO realize this is just a subliminal message that it's time for another get-together, right?? | |

It really is one of my favorite buildings in town. It's even more beautiful in person! Here's another one that's a favorite of mine - and both are from sandstone that was quarried right here in town:
I seriously swoon over this one. - Amy wrote:

You'll be glad to know that the pan played a part in the rescue. - Amy wrote:

No! I could've understood the poison ivy part if I had, but I haven't seen that episode in a couple of years! - Amy wrote:
