Skinny Audrey

As some of you know Audrey Hepburn was alive when Hitler came into power.
While vacationing with her mother in Arnhem, Holland, Hitler's army took over the town. It was here that she fell on hard times during the Nazi occupation. Audrey suffered from depression and malnutrition.
Because of that malnutrition it messed up her metabolism and made her forever thin. This was a candid shot taken behind the scenes in 1967. The movie "Two for the Road".

I've read about people who suffered from malnutrition being children and when they grows up, they'll never could take some good weight again... I didn't know the story behing Audrey Hepburn's skinny condition. I'm pretty skinny to, but naturally...I wish I was fatter and just cannot.

She always complained how she was too skinny. There's a story you don't hear that often.
She was so pretty that I don't think people really paid much attention to her weight. Her personality and amazing talent outshined it.
