| I watched this on the news last night. Hard to believe the driver of that semi lived through it, and only suffered from a broken arm! He said that one minute he was in the cab and the next he was lying in the grass. Whoa. | |

| Not only did he survive but someone taped it so he could SEE it. That is amazing.
It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart

| Probably running empty poor guy.
Pop got caught in front of a Tornado once in his rig, running heavy out in Oklahoma. Luckily he owned his own rig so he could set the horsepower to whatever he wanted, and he had it set at 475 with mid-geared tandems and a 13-speed. A real freight hauler.
He actually outran a tornado (and Pop don't lie).
He ditched it later to avoid the funnel, but got pulled out and still delivered on time once it cleared.
But he runs west a lot. I'm glad he wasn't in JoMo when it got bad. No matter how good you are, Mother Nature is better, and you keep dodging 'er, eventually She'll catch up to you.
And don't none of you young'uns think you can outrun one. I'm 41 and he's ran the roads since before I was born. He had experience. Lots. Much more than I ever got. You see a twister, you ditch it. Totaling a car is a whole lot better than dying. They make cars every day....they only made you once.
I'm glad that driver made it though. A lot of times they don't.
