Please Pray for my Dad

Hi, I'm really new here, like I joined yesterday, but I already need prayer. My Dad is gonna have surgery on Friday for two hernias. He's already had an operation to fix one before, but now he has two more in different places and he is in severe pain all the time. Please pray that he can stand it until friday and that--since this is gonna be an out patient Op--that Mom and I won't have much trouble getting him in the car and into the house. Pray that the docs will have steady hands and be able to patch him up without any complications or set backs. Thanks!
Hopefully I'll keep ya'll updated as to what actually happens the day of and the following week.

Thank you all so very much for your prayers! He has one more day until the surgery and we don't know how long it will take. He goes in at 9:45; I just heard that my brother might be there too to help us out.

Hope all goes well. I know what you are going through. My dad had a heart operation in February and all went well.

Got back from the hospital a few hours ago; the surgery went without a hitch and he actually got to go in an hour earlier.
The staff were amazing and so helpful and they had vallet parking!! When we did get home, around 3:00, he was able to climb the stairs without much trouble. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts for my Dad!
