| Alex, do you play for the congregational singing, or for offertory? (Or both?) And, if you played offertory, what did you play? (Lotsa questions today.)
I play the organ for congregational singing, though I much prefer the piano. Then for offertories, I rotate with two other pianists in the church - I play in the morning service the first two weeks of the month, and in the evening the second two weeks...And there's a lady in the church who plays both when there's a fifth Sunday in the month.
Tomorrow is our new pastor's official first Sunday with us and I'm hoping to take tons of pictures. And a friend and I will be playing one of our duets that we especially like - it's always a lot of fun, because we change places twice while we're playing. Then of course, after the service, we'll have a dinner. . . So, I'm thinking about all of that...Probably the longest "What Are You Thinking About?" reply we've ever had.

Every 3 Sundays or thereabouts. Sorry but I forgot exactly what I played this morning. I know I did play The Love of God, Great Is Thy Faithfulness, All Hail The PowerI love the piano; although I've played the organ in a pinch. I do NOT like it though. Hope tomorrow's service goes well! Happy for you and whatz up with changing places in duets? I've seen you do it, and frankly I am ...
