Job

Okay...I am so excited I can hardly contain myself!

Today Mom and I went to Zaxby's. (For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, I will post the website at the end of this post.) The manager and my Mom started talking after she ordered about a friend that I thought worked there. (I think he lied...haha!) Anyway, she out of the blue asked how old I was and I told her I was 16. She then asked if I had a job. I told her no. She got real quiet and just looked at me. I thought I didn't do something right! LOL. She then proceeded to ask if I want to work there. Before I answered, she is saying she wants to give me an application. She said I am just what they are looking for. She said I am pretty, have a beautiful smile, and also have good P.R. skills. She kept on saying how pretty I was. LOL. She is sweet.
Mom and I both feel good about me working there. It's not too fast, not too slow. And the inside has all sorts of vintage things inside, so it's up my alley.
The manager said she doesn't do the hiring, but she has influence and is going to really promote me.
She was VERY pleased to see I didn't have all these piercings, tattoos, etc. all over me. Only thing that is pierced on me and that ever will be is my ears. She said they aren't allowed to wear earrings though, then she said I don't need them because I am so pretty. She's a sweet lady to keep saying that. LOL.

Hahahaha! Their grilled chicken sandwich is amazing! So is their "Zalads". (Salads.)

I hope you get the job. Kara has been applying since she was 14 and has not yet gotten a job. Unemployment is higher than the national average around here. She does have an interview for an amusement park tomorrow. She will probably get that job since from what we here they are always firing people. Good luck, Julia!
