| Dear All, Recently the number of duplicate threads has increased a lot and even more than three threads for the same topic. To keep the forum readable and clean, please do NOT create new topics of the same subject. Please keep them in one topic. Some members like to open a lot of new threads for the same subject BUT this creates more confusion rather than providing information. I will start moving any duplicate threads I see. If duplicate threads still get created, I will remove them. Thank you for your consideration. ~Shirley | |

| Hello Prairie,
I hope you have enjoyed your year, your holidays throughout the year, and are ready for Christmas and New Year's. I am bumping this topic and even quoting it, in hopes it will remind you about making sure you are not making double posts, posting in the wrong thread, or placing posts in the wrong area on the forum. I have been busy moving and merging threads; "favorite songs" into "Christmas Songs" "funny photos" into "Kute Kritters" or the other way around, double posts on people who have died or recent news. Please use the "Search" tab above and type in what you want to post, just to make sure it is a new post and not a double. If in doubt, type it ALL out and the forum search will pick up on and highlight the words for you. Just go through the list and see if any are close to what you are posting.
Thanks and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! - LIW74 wrote:
- Hello Prairie Pals,
Some of you may have noticed that your post count has changed. We are in the process of cleaning up the forum and in order to do so, we have been deleting some old posts that only had a few replies to them, duplicate posts and some of the games in the game section that just seemed to be cluttering up the prairie. Depending on how many posts you made in the game section and other sections on the prairie, will depend on how many posts you might have lost.
We would like to keep the prairie clean and clutter free, so before you start to post something, make sure it hasn't already been posted. There is a "Search" area just below the banner and it comes in real handy when trying to figure out if something has been posted. Put in as many words as you can think of that would describe what you are wanting to post and if something pops up, check it out to see if that is indeed what you had in mind to post. Thank you for being a part of the prairie and thank you for understanding the spring cleaning that we are doing. | |
