- Oh my stars, that brings back memories! When my first dog, Mac, was a puppy, we were taking her to a grooming appointment. I had the window rolled HALFWAY down, and we were driving about 40-45 mph down a country road....Mac saw a squirrel or a rabbit or SOMETHING, and she jumped out of my arms and out the window!! She wasn't injured in the slightest, but I thought I was going to die just watching her!
Whoa, that would have totally freaked me out!! I'm glad Mac was ok! Chelsey (our Golden) would never do something like that, but Jenna (our Beagle)? Yep, I can see her doing it in a heartbeat---our little 'killer', LOL! Last year, my parents' Pomeranian mix jumped off their SECOND story deck, when she saw a squirrel! She ran after it through the woods behind them before they could even fathom what happened! She did come back, but man...what a one track mind! And she sustained NO injuries!! She could have been killed!! | |
