I'am glad nothing like this ever happened when i was going to high school..

Why do people do things like this?

What is this world coming to?

I'm in shock! It's not safe to send our kids to school, reguardless of there age. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who was involved in this sad day.

I just heard about this when my husband came home from work and told me. It is so shocking and difficult to understand why anyone would take so many innocent lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by this tragedy.

This is so sad... young and older students are just not safe in schools anymore

I've been pretty numbed by this tragedy...it's just such an unfathomable thing for the mind to grasp, but after reading this article, and the lives of some of these students, my heart aches. I'm also questioning the way this was handled....students being notified via email about the first shooting, and some parents not finding out about their son or daughter's morning death until night. It's just all so senseless...my heart and prayers go out to all the victims and their families and friends.

This is all very terrible...

totally..sad..I hope nothing elise likes this ever happneds...again

I was absolutely shocked when I heard the news of this terrible tragedy. It scared me ever more than it should have since I'll be off to college in the fall. I'm keeping the victims and their families in my thoughts.

You can be assured that the media will drag this event out for weeks and weeks and weeks... repeating things over and over.... it would be nice if they would back off and leave people alone to grieve.

My heart goes out to all the people who lost their lives and to their families.

My heart also goes out to the parents of the killer because I'm sure it is awful to know that your child was so troubled and depressed that he went and took out so many innocent lives.

It is sad that loners and depressed kids exist in every school. Why can't people open up and accept everyone?... include them in fun activities... help them if they seem troubled... be a friend.. accept everyone.... but who am I kidding... that would only happen in a perfect world....
