Clever Way To Find Out Gender Of Your Baby

So, my old sister talks about she wants to know the sex of the gender. One of her friends was reading it in article. Told her about it. She told us. (Expect my dad, he was at work, at the time.) She'll go to her appt, one day. Tell the tech, to see what the gender is. Explain what kind cake she wants. the tech will give the card in a seal envelope. Or my sister will take it. Give it to the bakery. The whole family will gather. Then, someone will cut the cake. In the middle will be either blue or pink. (Probably her. Cause, she's good cutting slices of cake.) Or maybe have my older niece cut the part, where can see if its blue icing or pink icing in the middle.


I look more about this. More people our doing this now. I didn't know, until today.


I'm so excited just think about it. I can't wait, to see what color of the icing it is. I hoping will be this year, we find out. Be the end of the year. (She'll be 5 months in Dec.) I will let everyone know.

Wow, what a cool idea! So, even the parents find out at the same time everyone else does?

With us, we didn't know for our first born....we wanted to be surprised. We found out around 5 months along with our second---I wanted to know if I could use all my older son's clothes. Sure enough, I could! Honestly, it didn't take any of the joy out of it either---it made it even that much more exciting to prepare for our second son!


It sounds like such an exciting time for your family, buttercup! We're all done in my family....now I just have to wait to be a great aunt. Or grandma. (Um, I can wait on that... ).

Amy...just another scary things we share. Nathan was a surprise and Madison we found out at 19 weeks.

The Dugger Family did that on live tv when their first grandchild was on the way. They cut the cake and it was pink inside. I can't remember what show it was on but it was a morning news show.

Yeah, it's new thing. I'm watching Reveal Gender Parties on youtube. Lot people get excited if it's a boy or girl. But won't be for awhile. So, just keep your eyes open for new thread in Town Gossip.

Why am I not surprised?! I'll never forget finding out about Nick. I was kind of hoping for a girl (since I had a boy and I figured we'd probably only have two), and when we found out it was a boy, I remember literally one split second of disappointment, and then complete and utter joy. Just pure elation! On the drive home, my hubby kept looking at me questioningly, and then said, "Why are you smiling so much? I thought you wanted a girl?!" And my response was this:

"We're not NOT having a girl. We're having another SON!" I don't think I wiped that silly grin off my face that entire day.
