Thing is, I don't know his folks personally. His parents are divorced. He lives with his Dad and his Mom lives with her boyfriend.

I'll keep praying. Did you have some common friends? Maybe you could contact them...I don't think something wrong could have happened. If an accident would happen you must know almost at the very moment: radio, TV and papers usually talks about these things.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. He wrote me this evening to inform me that for some reason his phone died last night and would not work until then. So....*sigh*, everything is ok! I guess with him driving a motorcycle it causes one to be more concerned.
Also, there MAY be a job possiblity/chance where he works for my Dad. He works at a hotel/resort. It's be nice if the job was really good and paid well, plus he'd be working with my friend and those two get along GREAT!

Great news!

That reminds me of a case that happened here, in Argentina. A young girl of 21, who was travelling from a province to another in a bus, couldn't be connected by her family. Some days ago, another girl had been found killed, so peple entered in a social collective psychosis and everybody went in panic...

Pics of the girl were fixed everywhere, police was alerted...TV spoke about her.

The case was the same of Jordan's one. Her cell had died and the poor girl arrived to a friends house and sleeped a lot of hours, so, she didn't know that they were looking for her...Well...When she turned up the TV, she knew she was considered almost dead, so she rushed to the first telephone she found to calm down her people...

I think we are "too much connected" nowadays...

I'm glad Jordn is safe and at home, tough!

@Vanesa Your right, We're so connected these days. It's like, we want the person is okay or not right away. If, their connection is down. Theirs no communicate on the other end. Until that person, finds a phone or computer. tells their family & friends their okay.

Look @ Ingalls time. They have wait months for their love ones. To them their okay. They didn'ty have text message, FB, cellphone, etc..like we do. They either write, telgram, or used the phone. (When it came out for them.) But some of the Pioneers people couldn't afford phones. So, it was either snail mail or telegram.

So true. Ma and Pa relatives who were left back in Wisconsin didn't know a word about how Caroline, Charles and the girls were doing until almost a year had passed...When Pa finally reached Montgomery County (Kansas) he must begin to built a house for his family and the first time he could go to Independence s, the only town they had pretty close to them, he mailed a letter to their folks in Big Woods. By the time, they could be dead...

Exactly! I've learned that in this world we are WAY too accessible. I sometimes will receive a text, read it, then reply to it a few hours later. Same with a phone call, I may not answer. I had an experiance with a guy who when I did not write back he'd get very angry with me. We finally had to go to his Dad and get things straightened out. The guy was 23 and liked me very much. People feel like they HAVE to respond SO quickly. You don't. I can tell you this, I will not write people during school hours either and not past 11pm UNLESS there is a good reason and my folks have given permission.

The reason I got so freaked out concerning Jordan though was the fact he rides a motorcycle and you always seem to hear about motorcycle accidents. My dad used to even own a few and he came close a few times...it's freakish.

I didn't like motorcycles, either and I don't like my family and friends riding one...
