| How horrible. They say, to watch your belonging this time of the year. They think it's Tis the Season to rob people. If, I was were them. I'll feel guilty about it. | |

| I'm not defending the boy but you need to look at it from another angle. Times are tough and people do things (shivers at thought of worse stuff) even though they shouldent, just to survive another day. Or it could be a boy hanging in the wrong crowd. They noticed you, then used peer preasure to get him to steal the money. (Or maybe I should stop watching Detective Anima XD) Ying and Yang, Good and Evil, Light and Dark.. All are 2 sides to their own coin. Niether can live with each other, but none can also live without the other. | |

I think David is right in looking at it from another angle. Does anyone watch Dr. Quinn? There was an episode once where an immigrant boy steals a cow to feed his family. Matthew (Dr. Quinn's son) helps him steal the cow, even though he knew it was wrong, but he looked at it from the boy's view, because he didn't know what it felt like to go hungry. The boy had tried to get work, but no one would hire him and the townspeople all looked the other way at the starvation going on with the immigrants, just like they did the indians. When the crime was discovered, the town wanted to hang the boy, but Dr. Quinn got them all to see the crime from the boy's perspective, to look at his desperation, and to try to put themselves in his position. Now, I'm not suggesting that the person that robbed Daniel was justified, and I'm very sorry it happened, but ever since watching that episode I have always tried to see this kind of thing from the other angle. Like David was saying, times are extremely tough, for some more than others. It's easy to say something is wrong and that you'd never do it if you've never been forced into a dire situation. Just saying.

| I understand perfectly what you are trying to say, Amy, and I share your opinion. But sadly, nowadays, many robber children steals money just to purchase drugs. It could sound cruel but it is becoming more and more frequent... Vanesa. | |

| Oh, very true Vanesa and I'm not trying to be naive about it. Your scenario is a very likely one too, but you just never know...the story I mentioned is timeless---in our horrible economy people really are starving even in our own city. | |

Thank you.
No matter how much i need money.wouldn't steal I wouldn't be so sure. If faced with a situation where I don't have money and I need it to survive/get out of a poverty situation I would steal. It's wrong but it could be necessary. Ying and Yang, Good and Evil, Light and Dark.. All are 2 sides to their own coin. Niether can live with each other, but none can also live without the other.
