| Not quite. My mother-in-law and father-in-law are tough to buy for, and my hubby always waits until the last minute to tell me what he wants. | |

| Every year it's the same thing. We ALWAYS have to wait for that final paycheck before we can buy! So every year I'm out with the crowds. I have a few things, but not much. However, we are really keeping it simple this year. | |

| We are almost done. With a college boy this year, we have tried to keep it simple too. I'm big on stockings for who ever is with us to open gifts. SO, this year I have put together stockings for the boys girlfriends. Nathan's girlfriend is easier, because she's given me lots of ideas...some she don't even know she did...lol. Madison's girlfriend is tough...she wont touch candy, and she is not a girly girly....so toe socks for her...lol Clay is my easiest. He has a thing for flashlights. We own the largest collection of flashlights in the world. I have no idea why he likes them but all I have to do is find something thats cool. This year I got him a light he can put on his head, you know, the ones with the stretchy bands... He hits his poor bald head all the time so I thought that might be the one this year. I have found that Walmart is the place for dvds and xbox games. Prices are better if you are buying those. Kohls is the place to go if you have Kohls cash.....SHHHHH! Don't tell Clay he HATES that store. ( He works for JCPENNEY) He finally agrees that its a savings that JCP cant always match , but he says to burn the bag before bringing it home. lol Now what I do have I have got to hurry and wrap because Nathan is home and he is so bad to hunt for things. Madison has already told me 4 places I hid stuff in the past , so I am out of hiding places now. I give up! Happy Shopping!! It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart | |

You actually know that??? I have no idea if my kids have snooped. All I know is that I did as a kid, so I'm just assuming that it runs in the family.

| I always wondered if my parents knew....I think I was pretty clever, so I kinda doubt it. But they probably would have done the same thing you'd do if they had known! All I know is that it wasn't as much fun on Christmas morning, so I learned to tame the beast as I got older. | |

| We have a huge armoire in our bedroom. One the very top its shallow....so I have layed things on top and that is one of the places Madison has mentioned finding things. I thought that was a really good place, so they must have really looked hard to have found it.
I never peeked to find stuff, but when I was 6 I opened the trunk of the car to help get groceries and there was a Jamie Summers (Bionic Woman) doll! I was SO excited! My mom gasped when she saw what I had! ha! She said " Santa must have hidden that there...put it back!" I dropped it back in there like it was fire. I dreamed of that for weeks! That was the only thing I remember my mom hiding. After that especially when I was a teenager she would come up to me and ask me to try something on to see if it would fit. Then if it did she would tell me she was going to wrap it!! My mom can NOT keep a secret...Christmas or otherwise. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart

| I never snooped as a child and I hate knowing ahead of time. It ruins the surprize of Christmas morning. I think I am finished my shopping. I got the second last big gift today and am going tomorrow to get the last one. I'll likely get a few small things for my parents, my mom especially, but the larger items are finally done. | |
