| A blind student feels that he is useless and doesn't wanna try in school. He get's his self-confidence back when he joins the football game. This is such a great esp to watch. The message really is that just cause your blind doesn't mean you can't live a normal life. You can do anything if you try. “Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it... Yet.” ― L.M. | It contains a great line by Andy Garvey, who says, "My pa doesn't know anything about football!" Funny, because Andy's pa was played by Merlin Olsen, who knew a LOT about football! | |

| In addition to being a member of the Rams' "Fearsome Foursome" defensive line, Merlin Olsen also served as NBC's top football analyst for many years. | |

| Game played on "Saturday, November 29, 1880", a date which was actually a Monday. (Could have called it "Little House" version of Monday Night Football if they knew.) | |

| It must have been an unusually warm late November that year in Winoka, which was in Dakota Territory, as nobody was wearing a coat. | |

| Weirdest line of the episode was "Your Pa doesn't know anything about football", referring to character portrayed by Merlin Olsen. | |

That was a great line. With Laura saying the game was played in 1880, Grace should have been 3 instead of a baby.

This is such a great esp to watch. The message really is that just cause your blind doesn't mean you can't live a normal life. You can do anything if you try. I really liked this one! “It was a huge shock when it came and very excited“ This was the duchess of cambridges take on how she felt when William proposed during their official engagement interview with ITN reporter Tom Bradby. There was a real giggle at the end. Cute.

| I watched this one tonight. I loved the "inside joke" about Merlin Olsen / Jonathan Garvey not knowing anything about football and how he had to keep having the rulebook with him all the time.
This is not one of my favorites, but I do like how we learn more about Adam and his relationship with his father, and of course Adam is really good at encouraging blind people to try to live life to the fullest and to not let themselves be completely defined only by their blindness.
