Eyeshadow

Well, the mane thing is to keep a sense of humor.

Take pride in that sense of humor too.....

I like to wear white the most. I think it looks best on me.

white is a nice shade.

Good for you. I've never understood why females paint themselves up. Think of all the money you could spend on other stuff if you didn't buy into the makeup = beauty trap set by the cosmetics companies. Just my opinion.

I agree to an extent, but some of us happen to think make-up is actually fun. LOL, I know I couldn't live without it! However, that's not to say that I wear a ton of it...the trick is to wear just enough to enhance the features without looking unnatural. (Rob's lion picture is a example of going a tad overboard. ).

Hmm. I'd posted here yesterday. (I thought - maybe I just hit preview instead of send.) Anyway...I don't actually have a favorite color eyeshadow. I don't wear it. I don't have anything against it - I just don't wear it. Looking at the before and after pics above, however, maybe I should invest in some.

You did post yesterday, I remember reading it.....not sure where it went though.....

My eye shadow usually goes with the color of the clothes I am wearing (pink, green, blue, rusty)......After going through cancer twice, I am SO pale and hollowed cheeked, I have to use make-up to camouflage the imperfections that I was left with, otherwise, I would look like Uncle Fester from the Addams Family......I resembled him a LOT when I was sick......bald, pale with dark circles under my eyes.........the color goes on the eyelid right next to the lashes.....the rest of the eyelid is done in a soft brown......

I get the dark circles pretty bad. Maybe because I never sleep well enough. Who knows! So, I usually wear make-up to cover those up, and other imperfections as well. The last time I stopped at a friends house for breakfast, without make-up, she asked what that bruise was from around my eye. It wasn't a bruise!! But, as far as eyeshadow, I wear shades of brown.

sometimes i forget i have make-up on and i rub my eyes.

When I was younger I wore a lot of make-up. Nowaday nothing or almost nothing. I find I look much more natural without it.

I am with Pam though....I don't really get undereye circles much, but I'm finding that as I age, eye concealer is more my friend then ever. As far as color, I go with earth tones most of the time.
