Notifications

Is there a why i can stop from geting FB Notifications being send to my E-mail?

Go to Account Settings....on the left hand side, click on Notifications and set it how you want it.......

Lori, if you click the little downpointing arrow at the upper right corner, it'll show the account settings.

Ok, apparently I'm really dense when it comes to this type of thing. I've tried two arrows and neither showed me account settings. Any advice?

Hmm. This the arrow to the right of where it says HOME, up in the corner.

Lori....Near the top of your fb, it'll have your name, find friends and home......go to the HOME button on the upper right.....right next to it is a down arrow......to the right......click on it, then Account Settings, then notifications will be on the left...

And if you are trying to change your notifications here....go to Profile and then click on Preferences...scroll down and click on what you want this forum to do for you.... Thumbsup

Oops, I missed that this was about FB. I have been getting emails when people reply to certains topics on here, so that's what I thought this was about. Sorry, I didn't read more carefully. Anyway, I think I just solved my problem though. I know where the account settings are on FB. Ooops

Oh! We'd been having issues with that here on the board lately, Lori. You have to do two things: Check what threads you're getting the notifications for, and go to those threads. At the bottom of the thread, on the right-hand side, click "stop watching for replies". Then, at the top of the forum page, click your "profile" button. When that opens, click "preferences", and look at the option (7th one down) that says "Always notify me of replies". Make sure that's checked NO. That'll take care of it for you.

I don't get the E-Mails from the forum anymore.It got so annoying so many to delete.
