Moved to Tucson 2+ weeks ago, I love it.
Family is the same but older. Dad has more good days than bad, still see that spark in his eyes, we laugh quite a bit. I like it when he laughs at stuff I say. Mom says she sees a difference since I've arrived. I'm glad I'm not one of the ones that hate their family, I'm lucky.

Got a job working as a maintenance dude at the mobile home park where my parents, grandmother, sister and I temporarily, live. (Holy crapola!)
The park manager says she has received nothing but compliments about my work, which is strange because I have no idea what in the hell I'm doing half the time. Wing it!!
I got the internet now. Wireless!! I can watch Little House anywhere in the house.
Last week my sister and I went out to play Hold 'em poker. She's in a poker league and is one of the best players in Tucson. I won the first tourney of the night and she won the second!!!

Bought a truck at a public auction, did a tune up, it's still a pile of crap but it gets me to the places that I need to go.
93 year old Grandma Mary asked me last week if I think I'm an alcoholic. I admitted I've been for 20 years. She seemed shocked by that revelation.
Granny moved into mom and dads place last year but keeps her own home here on the property. I'm living there for now. I just counted, there are 27 Christian depictions/images/prayers on her refrigerator. I'm not lying.
There are well over 100 pictures of Kenny Loggins in this home. Maybe it's supposed to be Jesus, but darn, the likeness is uncanny.

All in all, I made the right move.

Glad you got moved and are settling in.......2 years ago today, I arrived here in Missouri and I still feel like I'm settling in....could be because I left my 3 boys down in Arkansas and miss them terribly......Hope things continue to go well for you..... Thumbsup
