| I have several of his books! Little Bear is so adorable with wonderful lessons----my favorite of his works. Maurice left a wonderful legacy. | |

| Madison LOVED Little Bear, even still has the "doll". When he was little I could have done ANYTHING when Little Bear was on in the mornings. 83 years is a good amount of time here....he accomplished much. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart | |

| Gin & Lisa, Nick had some Little Bear figures too! So funny that all our kids loved this series. And Lisa, "gentle and sweet" is a perfect way to describe it. It reminds me of Pooh Bear in a way...a nice, quiet show with few 'irritating' characters. I say that because it seems like there are more and more shows out there now that have gone out of their way to annoy the parents! Oh, Franklin is another good series, kind of like Little Bear. | |

I was trying to place his name when I saw this thread. Where the Wild Things Are was my son's favorite book growing up. Doesn't it bug you when you discover things like that about celebrities? When I found out Christopher Plummer didn't like children it ruined The Sound of Music for me for a while. | |
