I know it's a bit late but I wanted to thank everyone for the birthday wishes! As a my birthday/wife's birthday (in April)/anniversary present (also in April), we took a very nice vacation out to Hawaii (left the day after my birthday). It's a nice place to visit and we had a lot of fun hiking, snorkeling, doing a powered hang-gliding flight, etc. But it's always nice coming back home too. The fun's over as it's back to reality and baling hay this weekend. Anyone want to help?!?! grinsmiley

Having allergies around our place would be really bad. I know in the fall I see a lot of ragweed plants growing.

Karen and I have done the hay making for several years now by ourselves so we got a good system in place. She runs the tractor with the baler while I follow behind and load the bales onto the wagon. Then when we load it into the barn, one is in the loft and one loads it onto the elevator. It's a full days work to do about 5 acres of hay but it sure beats having to worry about buying hay! If only I could train our dogs to bring us lemonade Smile
