We drink 2%, but to eat my Special K, I bought skim, which will just be used for that. I'm trying to lose some weight this summer.

I couldn't just go with just skim all the time, but for cereal, its OK.

I usually drink 1.5 % though my famliy just drinks 3.8% I don't care much for it though...

I don't drink milk.

My husband drinks 1 or 2%, whatever is on sale and the kids drink whatever he drinks.

The amount of fat.

Whole milk is nearly like cream. Almost all fat. Skim is mostly fat free and 1 and 2% is lowfat.

Technically, whole milk isn't much like cream. It isn't almost all fat, it just has the highest fat content out of the differing types of milk. Much of the fat is removed to produce other milk-based, and cream-based products. Whole milk is 3.7% fat, at the highest.

Growing up all we ever had at my house was whole. My grandparents used to get Skim though, and I actually liked that. Lately I prefer 1% though.

A lot of things change when you get older. I used to dislike salmon patties, now I actually crave them sometimes. I just haven't changed yet on milk.

I still hate spinach though. Blech.
