| I am asking for prayers for my family as they go through the sorrow and grief of the untimely death of my nephew. Danny would've been 40 this October and leaves behind 3 sons, his mom and dad, his brother and sister in law, his grandma (my mother in law, who buried her husband a year ago in July) nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and many, many friends. The funeral will be Monday morning at 10:00am; which means an early morning (5:ish) drive for me to get there to help support my 3 boys through this. They have been asked to be pall bearers, and even tho I know they will be proud to carry their cousin to his final resting place, I know this will be SO hard for them.
I also ask for prayers for safe travels as I will be making this a one day trip; meaning 3.5-4 hours there and 3.5-4 hours back, making for a VERY L-O-N-G day. I wish I did not have to do it this way, but the dog that I am babysitting for my boys, has separation anxiety and I can't be away from him very long without him bawling and howling and basically disturbing the neighbors. He also refuses to eat when he is left alone, so any more than one day (especially in this heat) who knows what I would come home to.

I will pray for your boys dog as well. I'm sure he will be fine. Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |
