Family friend not doing well.

Please pray for a family friend of ours. She is over 90 years old, in the hospital, and not doing well.

Thank you. We just got back from seeing her. It's such a sad situation. She has been healthy all her life. She just started going down hill in the last 6 months to a year. She is sedated and hooked up to all kinds of machines and tubes.

I'm praying for her...What is she suffering for? It's her ailement known ?

She passed away today at 1:30 pm. She was having trouble breathing.I am glad she is at peace. She was the most amazing 91 year old I ever knew. Always getting out and doing stuff until her last few months.

She lived a good long life and was loved by many, I'm sure. My condolences to her family.

Thank you. The sad thing is that none of her family lived here. She has a brother in Las Vegas, and he pretty much kept to himself. He would call every so often. Also a few years ago her nephew came to visit. Luckily she had us as her family. All were truly blessed.

She is with the Lord now...I'm happy for her. As it was said above, she lived a long, good life and we must be thankful for it.

Do you know if there is going to be a burial or an urn for the family to keep?

There is going to be no viewing or funeral unfortunately. She had no insurance and no family here which makes me so sad. We will be getting her ashes because my aunt wanted us to take care of her when my aunt died. Her and my aunt were roommates for many decades until my aunt died in 1998. We used to have her over for dinner each week and go out to eat every once in a while. We were like her second family. We did send in mass cards in her memory and that she can be remembered always.

It's good to know her ashes will be with you, someone who truly cared for her.
