Great smiles..I wish beyond the 3 ladies who wrote books about LHOP and their lives, at least more did interviews. There have been some good ones on youtube but they tend to get taken off and maybe written interviews are more passe now.

I've seen a few, but has Katherine (Harriet) ever given one beyond the one with Richard Bull on youtube/dvd.? I don't recall any with Victor French, Dabbs Greer(just one I remember) It wasn't that stars weren't interviewed back then but LHOP stars seemed very sparse. Maybe a contract thing or just disinterest? I would have loved to hear how Matthew (Albert) enjoyed or didn't enjoy his time on LHOP> Linwood Boomer seems to just want to talk about his non-acting career which is fine, but for so many actors, they seemed to leave that decade behind.

I can't believe I'm just seeing this thread now! but I like all the different photos of Matthew that have been posted I didn't know he had done that much acting outside of LHOTP either, I'm going to have to look some of these things up!

I just ordered the movie "Shattered Spirits" with Matthew in it. Martin Sheen plays his dad. I've never seen it...but it looks good! I should be getting it in about 3 weeks or so. Has anyone here seen it?

Type in Matthew Laborteaux interviews on YT, there is a recent one from 2011 or last year , it's a 2-parter. There is also a special hosted by Melissa Gilbert where he speaks, I think it was made a couple of years ago.

Maybe he refrained from the wild side of stardom, drugs, drinking, partying till the wee hours. I don't recall either he or Patrick's loves lives featured in the tabloids or press. They knew how to keep their private lives private. I'm not sure if he smokes ciggies either, that will age you as well. Allison looks good too. I haven't seen Jason in a long time. He did drugs at one time. He is still nice looking though. I recall he briefly dated Kim Fields, I read about it in a teen mag once.

I also liked Whiz Kids as a teen, I forgot it only lasted one season. I recall Andrea Elson later starred on ALF. I recall Matt also did a cameo on Night Court as a sleazy lawyer. Has anyone ever met a Little House co-star in person? If so, how was the experience. From what I heard , they all are pretty nice.

It sounds like Allison has a crush on Matt back in the day! I wonder if he or the other young co-stars had crushes on other cast members or guest during the show's run. Does Melissa, Melissa Sue, or Allison mention anything in their autobios? I really respect Allison for overcoming the sexual abuse she endured as a kid. I like how she jokes about fans calling her the "prairie #@!%" in her stand up routines.

I'm not sure which thread it was, but Matt was with a group of former child stars. Mary M of Walton's fame, Robbie Rist ( Brady Bunch), Jerri Gewell ( Facts of Life), Katy Kurtzman, Allison Angrim , And Olivia Barasch were in the pic too. Katy, Mary, and Allison have aged well. Robbie does not look too bad either. Not to mention Matt looks good too.

Seeing Matt play a twisted guy is a little strange.....In Deadly Friend he plays just that......
